Some of the best things to serve when friends come over are also the easiest. These crescent rolls take just four ingredients and turn into a warm, golden appetizer with creamy brie, savory prosciutto, and a little sweetness from peach and bacon jam.
I made these last night, and they’re definitely going into my entertaining rotation. A little fancy, a lot of brie—and very little fuss.
Ingredients
- 1 package crescent rolls, 8 count
- 5 ounces brie, cut into 8 pieces
- 4 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
- About 3 tablespoons peach and bacon jam, plus a little extra for topping
Makes: 8 crescent rolls
Oven temperature: 350°F
Bake time: About 25 minutes
How to Make Them
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wrap the brie. Wrap each piece of brie in a slice of prosciutto.
- Add the jam. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into eight triangles. Spread a little peach and bacon jam onto each one.
- Roll them up. Place a prosciutto-wrapped piece of brie at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough around the filling, gently tucking in the sides.
- Top with more jam. Spoon a little extra peach and bacon jam over each crescent roll.
- Bake for about 25 minutes, until the crescent rolls are golden and baked through.
- Let cool slightly, then serve warm while the brie is soft and melty.
A Little Something for Your Next Gathering
These would be right at home at a Mahjong night, a fall gathering, or a casual evening with friends. Set them on a pretty platter with cocktail napkins nearby, and let everyone help themselves.
The peach and bacon jam brings the sweet and savory flavors together, and that extra spoonful on top makes every bite even better.
Finding treasures and gifting joy sometimes starts with a little something delicious from the oven.
