The Giving Manger

Two moms came up with this concept and wrote the book. We met them at market in Atlanta, and knew immediately we needed this in our store...to remember the reason for the season. This set will help create memories around giving back that families will cherish for years. 

Maybe this year it will be leaving a note for the mailman. Perhaps it's helping clean up a sibling's room. Whether it's serving coffee to a stranger in need or taking out the trash, the little things matter. It’s important to remember that we give because He gave to us. 

The hardcover book is the sweetest story. After reading the book, you put out the manger. Then, when someone does a good deed, you get to put one
blade of hay into the manger. By Christmas, baby Jesus will have a bed full of soft hay on which to sleep. Kind of like the elf on a shelf, only with the real meaning of Christmas–how cool is that? I may give it to my teenage children...I wonder if WE can fill Jesus’s manger by his birthday?!?
