This soft green-blue Chalk Paint® colour stems from the first discovery of a good blue pigment in the 18th Century, which was then lightened with white. It can be described as a Rococo blue, as nothing says French and Swedish interiors quite like this colour.

Chalk Paint® is the versatile furniture paint developed by Annie Sloan in 1990. With no need for sanding or priming, you can simply pop open the tin, roll up your sleeves, dip in your brush and apply paint to furniture. Works on wood, metal, laminate, concrete, indoors, outdoors and beyond.
Available in 120ml and 1 litre tins. 1 litre is enough to cover approximately 13 square metres.
After painting, seal indoor furniture with Chalk Paint® Wax. On floors, seal with Chalk Paint® Lacquer. Take a look at our Techniques & Tips section for more ideas and inspiration to help you get started.
